Comparison of infection status of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) between the United States and China

China's population is 4.4 times that of the United States.

In terms of the number of infected people per million, the United States has 24,196, while China has 63.4, which is only 1/382 of the United States.

In terms of deaths per million people, the United States has 661 deaths, while China has 3.3 deaths, which is only 1/200 of the United States.

China is superior to the United States in that it has far fewer infections and deaths than the United States.

Unfortunately, however, the mortality rate in the United States dropped from 5.9% on May 31st to 2.7% on October 16th, well above China's 5.2% on that day. It's gone.

In other words, the mortality rate in China is about twice that in the United States. Is China's medical technology inferior? Or are the statistical figures disguised (propaganda)?

I guess it's the latter. And, ironically, this propaganda has had rather disgraceful consequences.

By the way, as of October 16, Brazil has a mortality rate of 3.0% and India has a mortality rate of 1.5%. China has the highest mortality rate in BURICS.
